Shawn Boyd  -  Chief Investment Officer

Shawn Boyd serves as Chief Investment Officer of Affordable Housing Access (AHA). Shawn has been acquiring, developing and managing multi-family properties for more than twenty years. During his career, he’s facilitated more than $1.2 billion in acquisitions of low-income and workforce housing using structured public finance, private activity bonds and conventional debt originations.  

 

Prior to joining AHA, Shawn was the Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer of Mariman & Co., a privately held real estate investment and operating company where he grew the company from a nine-property portfolio to more than $600 million in assets over an eight-year period. Before Mariman, Shawn was President of Western Pacific Capital Inc., a multi-family investor focused on redevelopment of workforce and entry-level for sale and multi-family rental housing located in Southern California.

 

Aside from his business career, Shawn served on the Seal Beach City Council from 1998 to 2002, was Chairman and Board Member of the Orange County Fire Authority, Executive Committee Board Member, Orange County Sanitation District, Chairman and Board Member, Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks Commission.
